A little bit more about me...
I believe that whether you play sport or not, keeping a fit and active body is essential to everyday life. It not only makes you feel better about yourself and give you added confidence, but it also leads to a longer more satisfying life.
A little more about me; I took some time off from full time sport after finishing University, maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, whilst working full time in corporate sales and recruitment for almost 5 years. I therefore understand the strain a hectic lifestyle can put on an individual who struggles with that work-life balance. Having done it myself and maintained my fitness levels leading to where I am now as a full time Personal Trainer; I can help you acheive the body you want and share the secrets of this work-life balancing act, keeping your body and mind healthy.
I have been passionate about fitness and sport my entire life, playing a wide range of sports to a high standard, including; Hockey, Football, Rugby and Cricket. I've recently been active in boxing and MMA for the past 4 years and have a keen interest in Mountain Biking and Motor Sport, particularily F1.
Just over 7 years ago I decided, after training friends and colleagues, to take my passion for fitness to the next level and become a full time Personal Trainer. I now train clients from all walks of life from serious sports men and women through to anyone needing to keep in shape for professional reasons or general lifestyle fitness goals. These include sportsmen and women, actors, TV personalities, Film producers, writers, office workers, journalists, builders, police officers and restauranteurs to name a few.
Since leaving the corporate world I established myself as a Personal Trainer in Greenwich and the surrounding South East London area. However, as I was born and originally from Torbay, I made the decision to move back to the South West. As a result I now have a broad client base physically in Devon and also online serving my clients in London and the South East. I am a firm believer of not just using a gym setting but also using the environment you live in to exercise. here is better to exercise than getting out in the parks and open areas to improve your fitness. Using both cardiovascular and resistance training techniques I can help you reach your fitness goals. With a broad range of portable fitness equipment I can use this more conventional approach twined with using the environment that is available to me, or of course in your own home/garden if you wish.
